About CCC Events

Cheltenham Community Centre offers several events each year. Some of these are held in conjunction with ​Southern Community Church of Christ (SCCC). 

Celebrating Seniors

​CCC is Celebrating Seniors in August 2021.
We are conducting a month full of FREE activities.

Bunnings Mentone BBQ​

We are holding a sausage sizzle in aid of the CCC Bolts at Bunnings Mentone on
Sunday 8th August from 8am - 6pm
and we'd love you to visit and say hello!

We are also looking for volunteers to help us run the stall in two hour shifts, each shift with one cook, one greeter and two food handlers. If you can spare some time on the 8th to come and help, we'd really appreciate it! Sign-ups are available on this page, or on TryBooking at https://www.trybooking.com/BSVCR.

If you'd like to donate some food instead, we are also collecting onions, bread, mustard and tomato sauce, serviettes and drinks (lemonade, Coke, Fanta and bottled water) - all are gratefully received.

Children's Festival

To celebrate National Children's Week we are conducting a Children's Festival on
Saturday 23rd October from 10am - 1pm. 
​The Festival will be jam packed with entertainment for all the family including
jumping castle, ​fire engine ride, chair-o-plane ride, face painting and more. ​

Neighbourhood House Week​

Neighbourhood House Week is a nationwide initiative to celebrate the vital role of Neighbourhood Houses and Community Centres in the community. The week is normally during the month of May. The 2022 dates will be announced on a later stage. 

We celebrate this week with FREE activities for the community. 

Biggest Morning Tea

​Join us for a delicious morning tea in support of the Cancer Council happening in the month of May every year. Further details will be posted closer to the date of the event.
