CCTV Privacy Notice
Cheltenham Community Centre is committed to ensuring the safety and security of our community, staff, volunteers, and visitors. Closed-circuit television (CCTV) cameras are in place within and around the shared facility at 8 Chesterville Road, operated and managed by Southern Community Church of Christ (SCCC).
Purpose of CCTV
The CCTV system is in place to:
Use of Footage
CCTV is stored securely and retained only for a limited time, in accordance with legal obligations and the Southern Community Church of Christ CCTV policy. Footage may be accessed or reviewed if a security or safety incident occurs, and may be shared with relevant authorities if legally required.
Privacy
CCTV footage is stored securely by SCCC and may be provided to law enforcement or other authorised bodies where legally required. Cheltenham Community Centre does not access or manage the CCTV system.
