Diversity Day 2023On Monday 22nd May we held our Diversity Day! We welcomed a wide range of activities including Vietnamese dancing, Chinese dancing, henna tattoos, didgeridoo play, Let’s Learn Bollywood Dance, and African drumming! Activities ran between 11:30am and 1:30pm.

Biggest Morning TeaOn Thursday 26th May at 10:30am we welcomed members of our community to support the Cancer Council with a Biggest Morning Tea! The theme of this year's event was Tropicana.
With a range of games, prizes, raffle & more, it was a great morning to share with our community! |

The Voice: Community Information SessionKingston Council held a series of information sessions to provide an opportunity for the community to be informed about the Voice Referendum held on 14 October 2023.
Learn about the Voice to Parliament and hear from highly-esteemed local Aboriginal community members. Each session included time for questions from participants and an opportunity for discussion. These sessions are opportunities for the community to come together for respectful conversations and learn about the facts of the Voice. |
On Saturday 23rd September between 2-3:30pm, Uncle Charles Pakana visited Cheltenham Community Centre to deliver a Community Information Session, with another on Saturday 7th October 2-3:30pm at Patterson Lakes Community Centre.

Get Online Week 2023In October we ran a couple of sessions running during Get Online Week 2023.
Participants learned how to use Google search, Google maps, how to book a taxi or doctors appointment and other important skills on their smartphones. |

Seniors Festival 2023In October 2023 we Celebrated Seniors Festival with a variety of free activities:
- Qigong classes - Love to Live classes - Afternoon Games - 'Age is an Attitude' workshop - Coffee & Chat |

Children's Week 2023We celebrated Children's Week on 21 October - 29 October 2023, with the national theme "Children have the right to relax, play and to take part in activities they enjoy".
We offered fun and engaging activities for children of all ages throughout the week, with a fire engine ride and petting zoo, just to name a few! |

International Women's Day Celebration 2024On Tuesday March 5th 2024, we came together to recognise the extraordinary accomplishments of women!
Participants enjoyed free coffee and engaging conversations, followed by a complimentary Qigong class. |
